NH LEGO League Hosts Racing Action at Plaistow Old Home Day
You couldn’t have asked for a better day to enjoy Old Home Day, all the wonderful tastes and smells of the fair, including the burning rubber…..wait what!!!!! Not only did the Plaistow Old home day feature singing and science, food and fair, it also played host to a mini Bricktona 500© LEGO racing event provided by the NH LEGO League. Kids from across the region were able to build and race their very own LEGO race cars. Over 400 races were held during the day and the kids had a blast learning how a gravity track works and watching the racing action.
Thank you
to the Plaistow Old Home day committee for inviting us to spend time with all the LEGO building fans in your community.
ABOUT US:
The NH LEGO League has been working with children who have a passion for LEGO brick building since 2009. Each month we hold LEGO building meetings around the state for our members with a focus on building, learning, and having fun. Our membership includes students from Goffstown, Manchester, Derry, Weare, Hooksett, New Boston, Milton, Somersworth and more.
In addition to our Master Builders program, our members have the opportunity to participate in the Jr. FIRST and FIRST LEGO Robotics program, in 2010 we founded the Bricktona 500 NH’s first and only annual LEGO car race, and have held LEGO NXT 2.0 training classes.
