Villa Augustina to Offer Master Builders Program
We are pleased to announce that the NH LEGO League has reached an agreement with the Villa Augustina School in Goffstown. The NH LEGO League will be providing our signature Master Builders program at the school for the 2014 school year. This program will allow students at the Villa Augustina School to meet after school, work on amazing LEGO challenges, and earn NH LEGO League Master Builder status.
As part of this agreement we hope to offer mentoring services to the Villa so that they may partake in several of the USFIRST LEGO League activities in the future. The Jr. FIRST and FLL robotics programs are outstanding, and along with our Master Builders program make for a
Microsoft Blocks Fit Well With NH LEGO
The NH LEGO League is pleased to announce we have entered into a partnership with the Microsoft Corporation. As part of this partnership our FIRST LEGO robotics teams we will be bringing their competition robots and supplies to the Microsoft Store at the Rockingham Mall in Salem, NH on Saturday November 9th from 3:30-5:30pm. They will share what they have learned this year during the Natures Fury challenge with Microsoft experts and the general public. Our teams will also get a chance to see the latest in Microsoft Technology and play with the newest in LEGO XBOX games.
All NH LEGO League families are welcome to attend this fun event, come see what we have been up to, play some games, and get the inside track from Microsoft experts on the latest technology for the holiday season.

NH LEGO League Robotics Program
As technology continues to evolve it has become obvious that robotics will play a major role in shaping the way we work and live. The NH LEGO League is pleased to offer an 8 week course to teach kids ages 8-14 wishing to learn or improve their understanding of how robots can be used to solve problems. Using design, programming, teamwork, and problem solving skills,
students will solve a unique challenge designed specifically for the NH LEGO LEAGUE robotics program.

July 8th-12th - 3rd-8th Grade Robotics Summer Session (Open to Winnisquam Regional School District Students Only) 3rd and 4th Grade - Students will be building and programming up to 10 different robots. These robots will focus on a different STEM concept or principal. Students will be put into teams of two to support collaboration, teamwork and communication. This activity filled up quickly so dont delay. 5th-8th Grade - Students will work in teams of two to build robots from the VEXIQ system. They will then take the robots and use them to play the “Squared Away” challenge. As the students work on the challenge they will learn to modify their robots by problem-solving challenges to make their robot better. Students will also learn programming and design principals to improve their knowledge of robotics.

August 5th-9th - Space Science and Early Elementary Robotics Camps This year Middle School students will be building and programming mars rovers to manage travel on another planet. As part of the Space Science challenge students will be building underwater robots to that will emulate travel through space. 1st-3rd grade students will be building and programming up to 5 different robots. These robots will focus on a different STEM concept or principal. Students will be put into teams of two to support collaboration, teamwork and communication.

August 12th-16th - Robotics Summer camp featuring FIRST CITY Sharper Challenge and LEGO Robotics Interested in robotics and want to learn what it's all about? Looking to get a jump on this years FIRST LEGO LEAGUE CITY Sharper challenge? Join Coach Damato and LEGOMAN Dan to begin building the design and programming skills to help you or your team get to the next level. During our summer robotics session at Gilford Middle School you build a robot from the drive train to attachments, look at all the FLL challenges and, program your robot to maneuver the FLL game field. As students work on the challenge they will learn to modify their robots by problem-solving challenges to make their robot better. Students will also learn programming and design principals to improve their knowledge of robotics.This will be a fun way to learn about LEGO robotics and the FIRST LEGO League program. The NH LEGO League has been working with children who have a passion for LEGO brick building since 2009. Each month we hold LEGO building meetings for our members in Goffstown, NH with a focus on building, learning, and having fun.
